HOW IT WORKS

FAQ

Raw means that the frame of the cycling glasses is in its raw or original state. In other words, the frame has not been additionally coloured after 3D printing.

Freshly printed, the cycling glasses already come in this light grey tone. Afterwards, the glasses are refined: in a separate manufacturing step, the surface is compacted so that no moisture can penetrate the material. Since the glasses are not additionally coloured, they retain their original shade.

Circular means that materials stay in the loop for as long as possible. After use, old or broken products aren’t just thrown away; they’re returned. Then, they’re broken down into their components and reintroduced into the material cycle. Recycling and reusing give high-quality materials a second chance, extending their lifespan and reducing resource waste.

It may happen that the frame darkens slightly in some areas due to sweat. No worries, it gives your glasses that authentic vibe! Just clean with water and mild soap or wear those dark spots as trophies from your rides and sweat-inducing adventures. Let your cycling glasses tell the story of every single bead of sweat!

Currently, our frame N°4 lite in both sizes, standard and small, is available in RAW. We developed the half-frame model together with the one and only Fabian Cancellara – for unbeaten performance. More frames in RAW will follow.

Yes, there are. Here you can find the replacement lenses for the N°4 RAW. Make sure you select the lens for the LITE design, which is the half-frame glasses, in the correct size (small or standard).

For daily cleaning, use a microfiber cloth or the supplied microfiber pouch. Remove minor stains with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Do not use aggressive cleansers. They can damage the lenses and the surface of the frame.

To recycle the materials, we work closely with our industrial partners. We collect the glasses at our office in Bern, disassemble them, and send the frames to our industrial partner, where the material is processed into pellets along with other 3D printing materials.

Not yet. But we’re working on it. Currently, the shredded material is processed into pellets, which are used in injection molding, another manufacturing process. Any products can be made from the recycled material – from toothbrushes to toys to toilet seats, anything is possbile.
